Madonieprint2023 2021 I returned to my mother's hometown in northern Sicily for an artistic investigation. In Pollina, on the slopes of the Madonie Mountains, my family still extracts ‘manna’ from the bark of ash trees, following one of the oldest agricultural traditions in the Mediterranean.
Two years later, the project was featured in a solo exhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute in Cologne, where I also curated the graphic design for the event, including postcards and a poster.
